Concept:

NERO

The idea is to create an object made by different parts that are perceived as one harmonious whole, from which you can subtract each element to have a flexible experience of the object itself. The dichotomy of shiny and opaque enhances the perception of the different volumes. Each element that composes the object interacts with each other through a distinct juxtaposition of geometry that expresses the flexibility of the object’s use. I conceived Nero as a container for multiple objects (purpuri being one of many), but also as a vessel where the simple element of water can be contained, creating an extra-shiny, cold, and smooth layer.
